Call for Symposia for the Fall 2017 ACS Meeting in Washington DC

Hello CHED Folks!

Now that “Black Friday” has started 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and the elections are finally over, it is now perfectly safe to propose symposia for the Fall ACS National Meeting to be held in Washington, DC on August 20-24, 2017!

Proposals are solicited for any chemical education-related topic, but especially for proposals related to the meeting's primary theme: "Chemistry’s Impact on the Global Economy".  We greatly appreciate those of you who have already submitted symposia for the meeting!

Please send your ideas for symposia to your meeting co-chairs, Denyce Wicht (dwicht@suffolk.edu) and Beatriz Rios-McKee (beatriz.rios-mckee@nokia.com). To submit a symposium, please send to Denyce and Beatriz a title, contact info for each organizer, and brief abstract by November 30.

Later submissions will be considered, but will miss the deadline for the session to be advertised in the C&EN Call For Papers.  Please contact Denyce, Beatriz, or Tyson (miller_t1@heritage.edu) if you have any questions.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in Washington DC next fall!

Denyce Wicht, Beatriz Rios-McKee, and Tyson Miller
