CHED deadline for abstract submission for the ACS National Meeting in Washington D.C.

Hello CHED Folks and Friends!

This is a reminder that the CHED deadline for abstract submission for the ACS National Meeting in Washington D.C. is Monday, March 27, 2017.

The reasons the CHED abstract submission deadline is earlier than other divisions (April 10 for some) is:

1) the ACS National Meeting in San Francisco is April 2-6 with governance meetings 3-4 days beforehand, and few people remember to submit abstracts during the meeting;
2) the deadlines for program workup and completion fixed by ACS after the meeting are really tight; and,
3) the CHED program is often the largest and needs more time to prepare

Please get your abstracts submitted as soon as possible. We understand the difficulties behind the convergence of the Spring ACS meeting calendar with the Fall ACS meeting program deadlines, and we’ll work with folks as best we can. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Please don’t hesitate to contact Washington D.C. chairs Denyce Wicht (dwicht@suffolk.edu), Beatriz Rios-Mckee (beatriz.rios-mckee@nokia.com), or me (miller_t1@heritage.edu) if you have any questions.

Cheers!
