As specified in our copublishing agreement, The Board of Publication of the Division works with ACS Publications to set pricing for the Journal in its various publication forms. We want to make you aware of a price change for 2013 that gives subscribers options that reflect their preferred usage while also accounting more clearly for marginal costs. Specifically, we understand that the education community values the print availability, and have maintained that option for subscribers, with the 2013 rate more closely reflecting the cost to cover the printing and distribution of the print journal. In addition we have a Web-only subscription that permits access without the cost of paying for a print copy.
Two different options are now available for subscriptions beginning in 2013. The Web Only subscription gives access to JCE monthly web issues and the complete journal archive. This provides access to nearly 90 years of journal content for an annual flat rate of $80 for Individuals and $50 for High School Teachers, Graduate or Undergraduate Students. A subscription that combines Web and print is also available, including costs of printing and mailing, for $115 for individual subscriptions ($135 if international) and $65 for high school teachers, graduate or undergraduate students ($85 if international).
