The New Member committee (NMC) is focused on welcoming new members to the division and looking for new ways to help meet the needs of our new members. Since the spring ACS meeting in San Diego, the NMC members have been working on finalizing the details for the New Members lunch at the 2012 BCCE being held at Penn State. Although we call this the New Members Welcome Lunch, it is open to all members and we encourage you to attend if you plan to be at the BCCE this summer. The lunch will be held on Monday July 30 from 12:45-1:45 in the Pollock Commons Training Room. This is a great opportunity for you to come and meet some new people, let us know what your needs are as new members and meet some more experienced DivCHED members to learn more about how you can get involved in the Division and get the most out of your membership.
We have also been working on ways to become more involved at Regional ACS meetings. If you have any ideas about how we might be able to do that, please share them!
Let us know what we can do to help serve you better. There are a number of venues available, both face-to-face and virtual, and we would love to hear from you!
